Some things you might need to know

Is this an all ages event?

This event is open to all ages, however some areas of the venue may be restricted based on licensing requirements. Alcoholic beverages may only be purchased and consumed by an adult over the age of majority. Adults who make alcohol available to minors will be subject to permanent ban from SummerFEST events and the incident(s) will be reported to the relevant authorities.

What do the different ticketing types mean?

General Admission tickets get you into the venue and the general admission areas. VIP Admission tickets also get you access to stage-side bleacher seating, a VIP zone that is closer to the stage than GA, and exclusive refreshment service where we will bring your refreshments to you in the VIP zone. Some artists may also choose to host a meet and greet with VIP guests.

If I book my ticket online, how do I collect my ticket?

Your tickets are sent to you by email and are also saved in your Showpass account. If you still can’t find them, let us know and will request that they be re-sent to you.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind about attending?

All sales are final and refunds cannot be offered for this event.

If the event is canceled, how do I get a refund?

All sales are final and refunds cannot be offered for this event. We will do our best to transfer eligible tickets to future events in the event of a cancellation due to reasons beyond our control.

I can’t pay by credit card, is there an alternate payment method?

You can purchase tickets in person at Sussex Town Hall (524 Main St, Sussex) using either credit card, VISA debit, or cash. Thank you to the town of Sussex for providing this alternative to our guests.

I have special accessibility needs, can you accommodate me?

Yes, please get in touch and we will work with you to ensure your needs are met.

What parking arrangements are available at the venue?

There is plentiful parking available on the Princess Louise Park grounds, as well as throughout the downtown core of Sussex. The new pedestrian bridge crossing Trout Creek leads directly to downtown and can connect you to additional parking.

Where do I go to check in?

We will be on site at 56 Perry St, Sussex. Visit our venue page for additional information about the site.

Where can I buy a ticket on-site?

We will be on site before and during each event. Visit the venue page to see where the box office will be.

If I lose my ticket, where can I get a replacement?

Can I bring a chair?

No, chairs are not permitted inside the venue. We have limited bleacher seating available to general admission guests, and VIP guests have dedicated seating in the VIP zone.

Can I bring snacks and drinks?

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, with the exception of one (1) sealed bottle of water per guest.

Can I bring camera equipment?

Personal cameras and smartphones are permitted in the venue, however professional cameras (DSLRs and mirrorless cameras with removable lenses) are not permitted due to licensing agreements we have with the artists.

Can I bring cannabis and/or alcohol?

No, these items may not be brought into this venue. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase and consumption by those over the age of majority, at the discretion of our bar volunteers. We reserve the right to refuse refreshment service to anyone at our sole discretion. There will be a designated tobacco smoking area and the remainder of the venue is designated as a smoke free zone.

What items are prohibited?

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Bags other than one clutch purse or belt bag no larger than 6.5” x 8.5” per guest. Exceptions may be provided for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag.
  • Animals, other than working service animals with relevant documentation. The venue is loud and potentially dangerous to an animal’s hearing.
  • Weapons
  • Fireworks
  • Laser Pointers
  • Illegal Drugs and Substances.
  • Drones
  • Bottles or containers with capacity greater than 1 litre. Glass bottles of any size are not permitted. (Empty personal water bottles,with or without lids, up to 1 litre capacity are permitted into the venue and are subject to inspection at the gate.)
  • Perfume or cologne bottles.
  • Poles and Selfie Sticks
  • Aerosol cans, Paints or Flammable Liquids
  • Skateboards, Rollerblades or Bicycles
  • Alcohol
  • Outside food or beverages (exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of security personnel for medical or dietary reasons)
  • Helium balloons, beach balls, and air pumps
  • Signs, flags or displays that are offensive, racist, discriminatory, use inappropriate language, or are religious, political or commercial in nature
